Standards are important: IPRO is constantly working on industry standards together with the major suppliers. Standards are very important as they enable the optician to compare and choose the products they want in their practice management system.
One of the major requests to all standards is to be open (minded) and free of charge, and that everybody is allowed to use them. Just in the way IPRO thinks.
